1968. Yogiji Maharaj wished to build a Shikharbaddh mandir on the banks of the Yamuna River. There were many obstacles on the path to acquiring the land, so much so that many lost hope of this mandir ever being built, however, after 32 years of patient effort and prayers, on Friday, 19/01/2000 the land was acquired on the banks of Yamuna.
Krishna Bhagwan once instructed the Gopis to take food for Durvasa Rishi. The Gopi's then asked, ‘How shall we cross the Yamunāji river?’
At that time, Shri Krishna Bhagwān said, ‘Tell Yamunāji that if Shri Krishna is forever a brahmachāri, then make way for us.’ When the gopis told this to Yamunāji, it did indeed make way for them.
Even though living amongst the gopis and engaging in various pastimes with them, Shri Krishna’s mental control was perfect.
